The film portrays cataclysmic events unfolding in the year 2012, as part of a possible predictionfrom the Mayan Calendar. Due to solar flare bombardment the Earth's core begins heating up at an unprecedented rate. This results in a series of Doomsday event scenarios plunging the world into chaos, such as California following off into the Pacific Ocean, the eruption of the Yellowstone National Park caldera, shifting of the continents by crustal displacement, Megatsunami impacts along every coast line on the Earth, and the flooding of the entire planet. The film centers around Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) and his family as they narrowly escape multiple catastrophes in an effort to reach ships in the Tibetan Himalayan Mountains and Dr. Adrian Helmsley (Chiwetel Ejiofor), along with the governments of the world, attempting to save as many lives as they can before the disasters ensue.

One word that i could say about the movie?
AWESOME!!
Not that i wish that it would happen lah!
But the graphics were really spectacular!! Breath-taking!! The entire Earth was destroyed right before my eyes! *heart still beating damn fast now*
It was pretty devastating to see everything gone. And it sets me thinking a lot about the show.
I think sometimes we took the Earth really for granted. It's our only home and we're destroying our dearest home with our own hands with all the pollutions and stuff.
Of course, in the movie it wasn't due to that.
BUT the same thing could happpen!! Greenhouse effect, temperatures rising gradually, ice caps melting!!
Gosh.. thinking of all these makes me feel 生在福中不知福.
If this is gonna happen, most probably Singapore will be way below sea level. Or even gone forever!!
*shudders*
Hope i dont dream about that later on.
Still on shows.. Currently i'm hooked on 2 dramas. Watching them concurrently while waiting for the episodes to be out.
Hongkong drama, 宫心计
and Heroes, Season 4
I'm so hooked that i watch them everywhere on my phone!! I could only wish that the episodes will be loaded sooner.
Waiting for them can kill!!
