Xmas Lighting @ Orchard

Saturday, December 19, 2009

This is the only picture that i have of the Sky Garden of Central@Orchard.

It was actually a lot bigger. They committed 2 levels to it. And there were lots of winding corridors.

The restaurants up there were gorgeous!! How I wish i can have dinner in one of them someday...

Anyway, had a tiff upon reaching town, thus the 1 and only picture. =(

But things turned out better after..

some Ben and Jerry!!

We bumped into this place after walking down some confusing escalators! Damn troublesome can!!

The escalators doesnt go down continuously. We had to go out to the carpark, enter by the next door then access the escalator to continue downwards.

Back to the ice-cream parlour..

This place was called Heaven's Loft. The setting of the place is divided into 2. One side was seats with silver couches and marvellous painting.

The other side were made up of the usual colourful round tables with silver chairs and tiny sofas!!

The entrance and display counter

I absolutely love their tables!!

'cause it can be turned 360 degrees!! Great for ice-cream sharing!! When you wanna eat the other side where there's another flavour, you just had to turn the table instead of the plate!

what an innovative rocking chair!

Then, we saw this large xmas tree in the middle of Central.

Pretty colours!

So we made it our mission to take pictures with ALL the xmas trees along Orchard Road.

The Ferrero Rocher Tree outside Taka

The 'flat' tree by the roadside

and lastly, the butterfly tree outside Paragon!

We missed out the huge one in Ngee Ann City 'cause by the time we walk until that area, it was almost 11!!

Some other pictures we took..

White lightings for Central@Orchard!

Even Zara look prettier than always. Prolly with the word 'SALE' will be even better?? haha..

The tree decorations for this year.

Each section has a different colour theme. Upper stretch was orange, followed by blue than red.

The new Mandarin Gallery.

Since it's opened, i haven't been there at all! Not that i have anything to buy there. But i will always remember how we had to walk past the whole stretch of the gallery to go from Takashimaya to Cineleisure, and how we had to walk up the mini stretch of 'bridge' outside Esprit.

Now it's gone!! =(

A few more pictures before we went to pick up our car at Paragon. .

Sat's parking after 5pm was dirt cheap! We only had to pay $3.37 per entry. Park Hotel was even cheaper at $2!!

All thanks to the Park-a-lot app on BF's iphone!

*******************

The tiff from last night was brought forward to the next day so i had to head over to Tampines Mall all alone to collect my pre-ordered iphone.

Was wearing the dress i bought from BKK. Cheap steal at 120 bahts! That's even lesser than 6 dollars!

After waiting for like 2 hours, where in between, i had lunch ALONE at Pastamania, smoked walked here and there many many times and finally got a seat after standing next to the Nokia booth for almost forever..

i finally got it!!

my iphone 3gs!

and no, Starhub did not give me the pretty pink skin. Instead, they gave me an ugly green ifrogz hard casing which i had to die die use in order to protect my phone before i get a replacement.

look at the pretty paw prints!! i'm glad that i bought the white one instead of the black. The girls chose it for me!

p/s: Am still in the process of editing BKK day 2.. i'm taking such a long time! ARGH!
