for 3 days already. Am late in uploading the Bangkok pictures. Editing is still in process.
Truckloads of picures!!
Having post holiday syndrome now.
All i could think of is how to conquer all of Platinum Mall's shop in 1 day the next time i'm there.
It is FREAKING big!!
And i missed out Khao San Road again! Nevermind, coming Apr... i die die have to go there!!
On a side note,
I PASSED MY JAP PAPER!! *shiok*
Started Intermediate 2 yesterday.
Listening comprehension practice at beginning of each lesson to prepare us for the listening test.
It was on numbers which is something that i use everyday at work.
So was pretty easy for me. No studying required!
On another note(hahaha!! i've got many notes),
I'm addicted to Sally's Salon on my DS Lite after playing with the Iphone version(Sally's Spa). I have always love games with similar genre to Diners' Dash.
Got so addicted that i didnt want BF to go home..
..with his Iphone. HAHA!
Okay! Eyes closing soon. Feeling very drowsy after my night shift.
Shall go sleep now and probably wake up at 4pm(if possible) for Dogrun with Niko at Pasir Ris.
I just booked a BKK trip for next year!! All within just 1 hr!
Total cost for 2 person: $216!!
Where to findddd!!
Luckily i opened my email last night and saw Jetstar's 24 hours madness promotion. And just right, at that moment, BF was on msn rushing his assignment. HAHAHAH!! After a round of 'forced' discussion, we settled on the date and ta-dah!!
I took leave on the last day of my afternoon shift so that i could meet up with BF.
I slept over . The next day, we went to Vivocity, shopped for his shirt and pants, bought tics for movie, spent an hour in Daiso just to wait for the movie to start and went into JB the next night for supper.
We rarely have the chance to spend an entire day together as our shifts clashed but doing this once in a blue moon is just wonderful!!
Perhaps, like what they day, 'Absence makes the heart grows fonder'. Sometimes seeing too much of one person might just make the relationship gets too boring..
Well, he's on night shift now.. and i'm miss him!!
Met up with my bestie from my secondary school, Winnie!
She came and picked me up and we headed to Brewerkz @ Kallang. My first time.. so abit suaku. Was surprised that they have so many kinds of light beer to choose from. i love light beer!
And they taste even better than hoegaarden! so light.. so smooth..
us! she looks like a teacher right? yea.. we met after her last tuition of the day. She's a teacher who earns loads!
our beer.. Golden Ale and FruitBrewz. Golden Ale is the very light beer that i'm talking about. Fruitbrewz, the one in the goblet, is a darker beer with a fruity taste. Sweet!
we ordered wings and sausages. The sausages were good, with pickled veg at the bottom. The wingss.. arghh.. disappointment. Super salty! Like the chef accidentally emptied the entire salt bowl into the sauce. Next time we should try the grilled ones instead. This one was the one with the NY sauce.
guess what this is? Brownie! In baby size! Just right for a scoop of vanilla ice-cream to sit on top.
while on the way back, she suddenly say,
"eh!! i let you listen to something!! classic one!!
Then, she press press press, the music starts, followed by,
"Haaa Teee Shiiii Naiii.. Ano kumo no kanata e.."
I was shocked!
ok.. anyone remembers the girl band Speed?
It was our favourite girl band at that time!! We knew all their songs and wrote the lyrics in our hymnbook. I love Takako Uehara(top left) and Winnie's favourite is Eriko Imai(bottom right). But now they no longer sing together as they had disbanded in 2000 to continue their solo career. It was a pity as they were very successful.
Anyway that song was White Love by them. Can watch their video here
Throughout the journey home, we talked about our school days. So many memories.. both of us missed it. Carefree and no problems..
ermm.. or maybe DOG problem.
HAHAHAH private joke between us. Sorry Jocelyn!
27 Jul
BF brought me to Kallang Leisure Park!
Ever since it revamped, i haven been there yet.
But after going around, actually there's really nothing in there. BF even say 'Leisure Park why not leisure one?' hahah..
There's a new cinema though, Filmgarde. Caught a movie there but since they are so new, there's no CC promotions yet. So a little heartpain to pay $9.50 for a ticket when i can watch it for just 8 bucks at Cathay.
caught X-files! Quite gross 'cause of the body parts.
while waiting with the number, wearing the shirt that i bought for him last yr.
me in my uniform 'cause i went after work.
my all-time favourite.. Spicy chicken linguine. I duno how many times have i posted this pasta in my blog n previous blogs. haha..
his Cabonara which cost almost twice as much as mine. I wonder why creamy pasta always more expensive than tomato based ones. Somemore bacon so small, my chicken bigger piece lo.
After the movies, we went over to Serangoon Gardens to meet up with Jeremy and Aiksan. And stupid me went to queue up for a Char Kway Tiao for almost 20 mins. Freaky long, not very nice and made everyone else wait for me.
Why they took so long is because they fry the noodles 1 plate by 1 plate.
